This fabulous category B listed ‘Glasgow style’ tenement makes an impressive contribution to the historic streetscape on Govan Road. The red sandstone building was built in 1900 and designed by Frank, Burnet and Boston.
The building is now in poor condition, suffering from a roof beyond meaningful repair, defective and saturated stonework, previous inappropriate linostone repair and structural issues at the top floor balcony.
The works include slate roof and leadwork, stone and structural repair including decorative elements, cast iron rainwater good overhaul, lime mortar repair.
