If so, Govan Cross Townscape Heritage Initiative is joining forces with leading traditional building skills experts the Scottish Lime Centre Trust, to provide FREE training for building contractors. These repair workshops are designed to help raise the standard of repairs on traditional historic buildings.
Pick and mix from five, one and two day, courses covering stone repair, working with lead, lime mortars and traditional sash and case joinery. You will soon know the difference between lime mortar and cement, silicon mastic and putty and when to use them.
