Some of you may have noticed the newly restored signage at Fairfield Business & Heritage Centre adding to the streetscape of Govan! The letters and central motif (shield with anchor) were reconstructed based on meticulous historic research and manufactured by a skilled blacksmith.
We are sure you will agree that the sign looks splendid, and Fairfield’s gates are still an iconic landmark of Govan. Here are some pictures of the original gate and newly restored signage. See what you think?
