Govan Cross Townscape Heritage Initiative wishes to commission a photographer/digital artist to undertake our ‘Govan Then and Now’ photography project. The project is based around the three themes of Govan then, Govan now and Govan future, and aims to engage and involve participants from the Govan community.
This project aims to:
1) Encourage people to think about Govan in a different and more positive light,
2) Explore and record the heritage, regeneration and future potential of Govan through the media of photography and digital enhancing techniques,
3) Introduce people to or improve their skills in digital photography and visual graphics.
If you are a photographer or digital artist and are interested in running this project, then please submit your expression of interest to us by Thursday 6 February 2014. Full details can accessed here Expression of Interest and on the Creative Scotland webpage where this opportunity is advertised. We expect to issue a formal tender on 10 February with a 3 March 2014 return date.
This project is funded by Govan Cross Townscape Heritage Initiative and is due to commence in April 2014. We look forward to working with you.
