Funds are now in place for the Langlands Path make over, with a site start anticipated in February 2013. The improvements, expected to cost around half a million to implement, will create a smoothly tarred walk and cycle way. Natural stone entrance ways at either end of the path will define the space and a series of engraved stone slabs, each depicting an aspect of Govan’s rich history and character, will be placed along the length of the path. Existing diseased trees will be replaced with suitable alternatives and new lighting, planting, benches and bins will complete the improvements. Watch this space!
