It’s back! Govan’s much loved FREE ferry service between Govan and the Riverside Museum is running from 27th June 2016 through the summer.
The free ferry will operate daily between the hours of 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday and 9.45am – 5.30pm at the weekends.
The ferry departs from the pontoon at the bottom of Water Row and shuttles backwards and forwards continually throughout the day. This year the ferry can carry more than twenty people per trip, so shorter queues folks, and two different types of vessel are on hand to cater for people with different mobility needs. If you have a particular access requirement, feel free to contact the ferry skipper Calum in advance on: 07766 517 681, but please note this is not essential.
The ferry can also carry bikes, so cyclists simply grab your wheels and get ready to sail.
Be sure to visit Govan’s fabulous historic attractions.
