… and it looks amazing!
Govan Cross THI are happy to report that our first Traditional Shopfront Improvement project – at 794 Govan Road – is nearly finished.
The project has restored this traditional shopfront to its original scale, proportion and detail, transforming it from its previous run-down appearance to its former glory.
The shop at 794 Govan Road is the first of around twelve projects of this type. Two shops on Water Row are programmed to go on site in early Summer 2013 and we intend to complete further shopfront improvements on Govan Road and Langlands Road shortly thereafter.
It is hoped that these ‘shopfront improvement’ projects will not only improve the appearance, but also the prosperity of central Govan – increasing trade and visitors to the area as it becomes a more attractive place to spend time.
