Join the THI Team and statue conservators, Covanburn, to learn about bronze restoration and the repair works currently being carried out to the Pearce Statue in Govan. Find out why the “Black Man” was green, is now black (well brownish) and what is on that plan that Pearce is holding.
This event will take place at 5.15pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday 15th of May 2013. Meet us at the Pearce Statue for a site visit and then join us for a talk in the Pearce Institute.
This event is FREE and EVERYONE IS WELCOME! However if you would like to take part in the site visit then we require advanced booking. Send your name, number and email address to mhairi.coulter@jbg.org.uk or phone 0141 274 3217 . You must also be over 18 to take part in this part of the event. Hope to see you there!
