Another great lecture evening in Govan!

Thanks to everyone who attended our second ‘Winter Warmer’ lecture evening last night – the event was a great success.

The audience enjoyed listening to Nick Blair, who is a Conservation Architect, discussing the upcoming building repair projects to Brechin’s Bar and the Water Row tenements. Nick was followed by Anne McChlery, Director of Glasgow Building Preservation Trust, who gave a very interesting and inspirational talk entitled ‘Looking out for Glasgow’s historic buildings’.

For all those who have since enquired, the delicious cakes were provided by Govan’s very own Cafe 13 – the carrot cake in particular proved very popular!

The Winter Warmer evening lecture series will continue in October 2013. In the meantime look out for our other complementary initiative projects, which will be advertised locally and on the ‘Get Involved’ section of this website.
